Essential Information
ENROLMENT
Enrolments must be made online via Eventbrite. Please enrol early to avoid disappointment. Numbers are limited and places will be allocated according to date of receipt. Classes which do not reach a viable number one week before the start date will be cancelled.
BOOKINGS FOR COURSES WILL CLOSE AT 12 NOON ON THE FRIDAY OF THE WEEK BEFORE THE COURSE STARTS. UNFORTUNATELY, WE CANNOT ACCEPT BOOKINGS AFTER THAT TIME.
Please note – it is not currently possible to book any of our courses via the Eventbrite app on an iPhone. If you are using an iPhone, please use Safari to access Eventbrite to book, not the Eventbrite app.
IN-PERSON COURSES
Most of our in-person courses take place at the Dalhousie Building at the University of Dundee. For those coming by public transport, there are nearby bus stops on Hawkhill, Marketgait and Nethergate. Unfortunately there is no visitor parking available on the University campus except by pre-arranged permit. We recommend using the City Council-run car park on Hunter Street, directly opposite the Dalhousie Building. This car park is free after 6pm.
ONLINE COURSES
Our online courses are run using Zoom. Once enrolled you will be sent a link to access the class.
CANCELLATION
Lifelong Learning Dundee reserves the right to cancel a class if enrolments are too few to run the class effectively. In those circumstances you may be offered an alternative class and, if not acceptable, your fee will be fully refunded.
If a class is unavoidably cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, we will do our utmost to contact you. Please ensure we have contact details for you during the day and evening. A mobile phone number is preferred, or an email address if you can receive emails ‘on the move’.
REFUNDS
A refund will only be given if a class is oversubscribed or cancelled due to insufficient interest. Refunds for other reasons will be at the sole discretion of the Management Committee and will be made only in exceptional circumstances
RECEIPTS
It is important to retain receipts as proof of enrolment.
Data Protection
The information you provide will be treated and processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. It will be used only for the purposes for which it has been collected, including administration of our courses and the monitoring and analysis of statistical data and to contact you in the event of a class being cancelled.

By enrolling in one of the classes run by Lifelong Learning Dundee, or by contributing as a tutor, you automatically become a member of the association. During the year there will be opportunities to meet with people from other classes, share ideas and play an active role in helping to make Lifelong Learning Dundee a success.
